National Food Bank Day was celebrated on the first Friday of September to remind us that no one should experience hunger, food insecurity, or food shortages. This year KDC celebrated by hosting a food drive all month long. Our KDC employees donated 286 lbs of food so we can offer healthy, complete meal options for families in need. Thank you to
Sunday, September 8th was National Grandparent’s Day. Thanks to all on the KDC Team who shared the special role grandparents play in our lives!
It’s no secret that our KDC family shares a deep love for fishing and many employees took part in the excitement during National Fishing Month! Experienced anglers and those just dipping their toes in the water enjoyed fishing adventures from the deep blue sea all the way to their own living rooms.
Family Fun Month is celebrated throughout August. KDC families went camping, enjoyed time at the lake and beach, attended sports games, went to Disneyland, went for bike rides, and spent quality time together!
Friday, June 14th was World Blood Donor Day, an event that raises awareness of donating blood and the importance it means to the health industry, as the range of uses is far more diverse than most people realize. Thank you to our KDC donors for spreading awareness and helping save lives.
